New Area - The Greenhouse
A new part of the tower has been spotted! A strange greenhouse full of new creatures.
Events
Now not all rooms have enemies! Some have puzzles or friendlier creatures. 5 different events can now be found in the tower! And more are coming!
Seeded Runs
Before it was completely random what room you would end up in, but now it’s seeded the moment you start your run! There’s a set amount of rooms until you find a shop, an event, and a treasure.

- Perfectionist Symbiote

- Pocket Cactus
- Mark of Nyctunn
- Mark of Umroniz
- Mark of Rhealith
New Weapons
- The 8-Ball
- Galaxy Sword
- Bone Blaster
Other Changes
- A much improved saving mechanic
- Added tutorial guy (Sir Toadbone)
- Added pause menu with settings
- Added pits you can fall into and die :)
- Reanimator now revives dead Inklings
- Shortened sword reloading SFX (it was driving me insane)
- Added different footstep SFX types
- Updated relics sprites and descriptions
- Relics have been balanced (a little)
- Added Reanimator firing animation
- The lift now “dings” when ready and has lights
- Improved corpse sprites
- New UI icons (floor and souls icons)
- Improved dialog art (still very basic though)
- Improved chests
- Kamille also sells ammunition and weapons now
- Bigger status icons
- Goop cannon slows down enemies
- Freezing effect now stops the enemy entirely
- Added new rooms (5 of each type now)
- And a bunch more stuff I probably forgot to write down…

Played through the update for a bit!!! AND I GOT A CLEAR!!!! Thanks to the power of some sort of... Devil Deal...? (That's what the icon looked like, anyway!! Some devil tail or somethin'. ...Seemed like it turned off Dash, though???) And Shiv, pff. God Shiv is so... funky. I think all these changes are fricking great, with what I saw. Did find it horrifying walking into a Greenhouse level though and immediately being surrounded on all sides by projectiles; these plants are evil........ But the amount of items you find is definitely greatly appreciated, now!!! Thank you for the seeded runs!!!
With the settings, though, I noticed two quirks: the sound settings reset after each run, and, uh...... the Fullscreen/Resolution settings just... look like this, and I can't do anything with them (tried clicking around their general vicinity to see if that'd do anything, too, but it didn't...)
Either way, though, excellent progress in toppling this tower!!! Thank you for the update!!!
i'm assuming that was the spirit alter that consumes your warp spirit (the thing that makes you dash) for a mark? glad you got a clear! i've been worrying if the game is too hard so that's good to hear.
the settings are supposed to look like that for now. i used the spiderweb to mark of fullscreen is on but it does look rather janky. it works for me though, so that's super odd. i haven't added anything with resolution yet because i realized that will need some major rearranging of some code, so it's just a "..." for now.
